Jon Snellings
Mr. Snellings is a certified Senior Consultant/Associate in Human Capital Management. He assists federal agencies in a wide range of human resources (HR) and human capital (HC) management areas, including: recruiting and staffing, HR policy and guidance, HR Information Systems, HC strategic planning and accountability, workforce and succession planning, process analysis and organizational design, internal management controls, and time and attendance systems.
Prior to becoming a Consultant in 2004, Mr. Snellings was employed by a wide variety of DoD and Civilian Federal agencies for over 30 years, leading and delivering policy and operational functions. In addition to the areas listed above, he gained expertise in project management and program integration, organizational change and communications related to workforce transition, strategic planning, and EEO. He has extensive experience in competitive and excepted service Federal organizations, including experience with attorney and law enforcement workforces, and in traditional and pay-banded agencies.
Mr. Snellings holds certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through HRCI and is an active member in the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). He holds both Bachelor of Science and Masters in Education degrees from Mississippi State University. Prior to entering Federal service, he was a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor working with blind and multi-handicapped clients.
